105SL Tag and Label Printer

Direct thermal or thermal transfer label printer by Zebra. Tough steel housing with reinforced section design and all metal interior components.Good bar code printer at 203 dpi (standard), excellent barcode printing at 300 dpi. 6MB DRAM and 4 MB FLASH and Transmissive Sensor. Maximum print width is 4.09 inches. Maximum label width is 4.52 inches. Minimum width is .79 inch. Maximum print length with standard memory is 33 inches (16 inches with 300 dpi). Minimum label length varies depending on the application. With tear off, minimum is .7 inch; with rewind & peel 2.5 inch; with peel off .5 inch; with cutter, minimum is 1.5 inches. 203 dpi (dots/inch). Print speed is 2 to 8 inches per second for both 203 and 300dpi. ZBI (Zebra Basic Interpreter) is accessible on the 105SL and can be used to convert non-ZPL printer programming language to APL commands and based on ANSI BASIC computer language. Serial and parallel ports. Accommodates an 8 inch diameter roll with a 3 inch core or fanfolded labels. Expected duty cycle is 12 hours per day X 7 days per week.

External ZebraNet PrintServerII 10/100 Ethernet Interface (for the XI2, XI3, XI3+, Z, S600 and 105SL) It takes over the parallel port and has an RJ45 connector.
